Summer 80m CW Contest - Thursday 14 May 2020

Thankyou for taking part in the Summer CW contest; the Final Results are below. Congratulations to Ted SP1NQN who was operating the overall winning station SN1T, just ahead of HG1G. Chris Tran GM2V was leading unassisted entrant. Dave Robinson MW2I and Jan Vosselman PG7V (assisted) led the Low Power section, with Fred Handscombe G4BWP the leading QRP entrant. With the sun well above the horizon and the birds still in fine voice, signals from Europe were well down in IO73 but most welcome as ever. One log never arrived initially due to choosing the wrong contest at the robot. Always check the acknowledgment email for strange errors and make sure your call appears in the list of received logs. One non-entrant appears to be using more than callsign and locator during these contests. Thanks all stations worked. 73 stay safe till the next time. I use EI5DI SD for the bulk of my logging. Grand -- G3LRS Plenty of activity tonight - had a good run frequency - a most enjoyable contest. Used SD for logging - faultless! -- G3SWC S-L-O-W -- G4BWP Busy but noisy I enjoyed the evening and used SD for logging. -- G4DDX Didnt think it was that busy tonight -- G4RCG Just S&P for fun. Temporary antenna. (inverted-V on pole) -- G4SGX With S9+17dB it is impossible to copy the weak stations.
