Soapbox comments from UKEICC 80m SSB contest using 6 char grids on 17/06/2020 First contest using IC-735 Used SD V21.31 -- G4BYE Thunderstorm QRN tonight. -- G3ZBU Thunder and Lightning. Poor conditions! -- M0DCG Lots of QRN.only one continental station SD worked vy FB as usual -- EI8CE Good session but very bad QRN Great to work some old and new stations alike 73 till the next time. I use EI5DI SD for my contesting -- G3LRS Only DX was GM! Poor conditions and plenty of QRN. -- G3SWC 1st timer. Great fun. tnx 73 -- EI5JS Nice to hear EI, heard good range of people in all directions except East. Simple QSO exchange, noisy due to nearby bad WX. Good luck! -- G0ATR Running 10W for first 35 mins thinking I was in the QRP section which is 5W of course!
