RESULTS - 28th September 2016 - CW

Thanks for entering the first CW contest of the 2016-17 season. Auroral conditions prevailed here near Inverness, with watery signals. The logs show a higher than usual number of uniques and busted calls, probably due to difficulties in copying stations. Congratulations to Clive GM3POI on winning Overall (second Jano OM3WZ) and the High Power section (second Eric SD1A) and to Yevgenij YL2TD on winning the Low Power section (second Sandi S57KM) and to Jano OM3WZ on winning the QRP section (second Alan M7R/G0TPH)  (Clive's QSO with Barry VK2BJ at 16617km is the longest distance QSO of the 80m series so far) I am away on a DXpedition for the UK/EI DX SSB Contest (22/23 Oct) and the October 80m CW contest (26 Oct). Paul EI5DI is also away, so Adjudication of these events will be done by our newly-trained Adjudicators Terry G4MKP and Simon M0VKY.  The next contest in the series is on SSB on 5th October 2016.          73   Chris GM3WOJ - Adjudicator      [Advert! : www.v6z2016.com ]
