Thank you, everyone, for entering this evening's 80m CW contest. This was my first adjudication, partly helped by Chris and Paul. These results are provisional and may be edited over the next day or so. This evening we had quite a few new callsigns appearing in the logs, from all parts of Europe. Personally, I really enjoy these contests for the variety of stations that can be worked, QRP or QRO, local or DX. So if you find there's something that you DO NOT like about these contests, please tell the Adjudicators. But if you DO like these contests, Please Tell Your Friends ! Don't forget that next week is the 80m SSB contest at 2000utc, but after that the 80m contests at the end of March and in April will start at 1900utc . Bad condx. Lots of background noise and strange sorts of QRM. -- 5P6P Late at home ... -- DL5JQ Good condx. tonight -- EI7GY FT5K INV V -- F5UQE SD Logger -- G0LRD Plenty of activity but few EI stns! -- G3SWC Forgot time so missed all but last 10 mins. Forgot to switch on linear so only running 30w. Must be bette organised next time. -- G3T Most heard my 5 Watts! Propagation better than in the last one! -- G3TDH Cold in shed so apologies for crumby cw! -- G3VYI Good condx -- G3ZBU That was fun! -- G4ASR Used SD -- G4BYE Antenna at only 18 feet as telescopic pole frozen solid !! -- G4DBW Took it easy tonight as not too well but very busy and noisy. Thought I had seen posting saying it was SSB. Worked one station there before figuring it was all very quiet and checking the rules and found CW! Rolled straight into Stew Perry mode in Win-Test and then discovered that there was no support for cluster / bandmaps when on 80 so ran un-connected and antenna for 2nd Rx was burried under snow so that wasn't working right either. Heard lots of stations calling others who I had not worked as well. Fun though... K3 + PA. 400W. Inv-V Dipole @ 18m -- G4PIQ Great session tonight -- G4RCG fantastic contest and great logging with sd -- G5UM Seemed like good conditions for this one. Pity had to lower the antenna due to high winds and ice forming. Brrrrr. Good fun never the less. thanks all for the fast qso's -- G6M Good condx at times with heavy QSB.
