Thank you everyone for joining us in this, the final event of the 2017/18 series of 80m contests. We hope you've enjoyed taking part and will join us again after the summer break when the next series will begin. The band seemed busy tonight with lots of EU activity, although new calls were scarce towards the end. It was fun running the real time scoreboard and watching calls swapping places over and over. Graham G4FNL and I appeared to be developing a mini skirmish and he had the beating of me in the end as to be expected. This 'toy' will become more interesting as more participants use it - hint... Congratulations to Graham G4FNL for winning the high power section, to Allan SM5CSS for leading a very busy low power section and being overall winner, and to Jan OM3WZ for an impressive performance in winning the QRP section. 73, Stew, GW0ETF / GW4J

Result acceptable re my late start today. Condx fine for UK and EI. -- 5P6P very noisy band SD worked fine as usual -- G0WBC seen better conditions ! -- G2AA Great fun. Good conditions- most heard my little signal! -- G3TDH using sd and newly repaired FT-1000.K3NG keyer -- G3ZBU Used SD V20.01 -- G4BYE A VERY BUSY EVENING BUT ROOM TO RUN. gOOD uk AND eu STATIONS. AN ENJOYABLE EVENING. -- G4DDX Thanks everyone for a fun evening.
