UK/EI DX CW Contest - 26th / 27th April 2025

Thanks for taking part in the UKEI DX CW contest on 26/27th April 2025. FINAL Results are now online below - you can FILTER these Results in a number of ways... Congratulations to Keith GM5X (GM4YXI) on winning overall and the Kenwood Cup as winner of the UK/EI Unassisted section. Also to Fraser G4BJM in second place overall and the leading Assisted entrant. Also to Tibor CT9ABN (OM3RM) as leading non UK/EI entrant. Congratulations to Gerard EI8X (EI5KF) as top EI entrant and 4th place overall. John M2G (G4RCG) was the winner of the 12-hour section, and Neil M5M (G4BRK) was the winner of the Low Power section. Tim G4ARI was the winner of the QRP section. Bud AA3B was the leading North American station. Congratulations to all section winners. Use the 'Results Filter' menu buttons below to look at the Results for each section. In the second column of this Results table, you can toggle between Operators and Section - the Operators column shows you the personal callsign corresponding to their contest callsign - if these are different. Generally speaking, propagation conditions were fair to poor during the event, although some interesting DX could still be worked. We received 441 valid entries, an 8% increase on the 2024 entries. Feedback from the Adjudicators

Our sophisticated adjudication software has been refined over the 11 years since we started running these UK/EI DX contests. Software alone cannot (yet) detect all possible points-loss scenarios, so the UKEICC Adjudicators spend a considerable amount of time, after publishing the provisional results online, to ensure that the final results are as accurate as possible. Despite its prominence at the top of our rules page ('The log submission deadline is 24 hours'), the short deadline for submitting logs after contest end continues to surprise and annoy some entrants. The benefit of this short deadline is very quick adjudication, with final results available within a few days instead of a few weeks or even months as with many other contests.

This year's night bonus QSOs amounted to 1.9% of total QSOs, in percentage terms nearly reaching the 2.2% or 1639 QSOs achieved in 2023.
