80m CW Contest - 29th October 2025

The provisional results from the October CW contest are below. Congratulations to Gyula HG1G on winning overall and the HP category, to Ted SN1T in 2nd place, and to Sandi S57KM third overall and the leading LP entry. The leading QRP entry was David G4ERW who was 31st overall with 64 QSOs. Mark SN7J was 4th overall and 2nd LP. Allan SM5CSS was 5th overall and 3rd LP. Steve M1X was 6th overall, 3rd HP and leading UK station. Overall 7th was an HP entry by Dave EI4BZ who was the leading EI entry. After 4 contests, the season's cumulative table is taking shape. The top five stations have all entered all four contests so far. In the lead is Mark EI6JK, ahead of Sandi S57KM, Allan SM5CSS, Brian GM4JYB and David G4ERW. Sixth overall is HG1G who won both CW contests but has not entered SSB. The table shows 152 stations have entered our 80m contests so far this season. The Teams Competitions page now shows the three teams that have so far been registered for the Teams Competition for 2025/26. This overlay offers a fun addition to the UKEICC 80m contest series. Anyone--not just those in a formal club or contest team--can enter this as a team. Find up to three other ops to join you and, once registered, you will find yourself drawn to the Teams Competition results as much as the individual results. You have until the end of November to register your team of up to four members. Full details are in the 80m rules, Section 7.3. Thanks to the bonus station operators Joe EI7GY and Stew GW0ETF. There were quite a few busted grid squares this month. Remember to log the exchange that is sent, don't rely on the pre-fill from the call history file. The next contest is on Wednesday, 05 November 2025 on SSB. We hope to hear you then. 73 from the UKEICC adjudication team. (G4PVM, EI2KA, G4FJK, GW0ETF, G4MEM).
